Description
Calendula officinalis (marigolds) is recommended in folk medicine:
● various cardiovascular diseases accompanied by shortness of breath, palpitations, edema, with hypertension stage 1-2;
● diseases of the liver and biliary tract (including hepatitis, cholecystitis); with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, gastritis, ulcerative colitis, seborrhea;
● various disorders of the menstrual cycle and in the postpartum period, ulcers and erosions of the cervix, whites, colpitis (including trichomonas);
● for the symptomatic treatment of inoperable forms of cancer, esophagus, stomach, intestines, as well as breast cancer.
It is used externally for acne, warts, calluses, ulcers, lichen, skin cancer, non-healing wounds, burns, purulent processes (boils, carbuncles, mastitis).
Rinsing with a decoction of flowers will help with stomatitis, gingivitis and gum inflammation. Due to the high content of carotenoids, this plant strengthens the capillaries and restores blood supply to the mucous membranes.
Application options:
Externally: pour 1 teaspoon of raw materials with 1 cup of boiling water, insist for 45 minutes. Apply to compresses, lotions, etc. on the affected areas and for rinsing.
Internally: pour 2 tablespoons of raw materials with 1 cup of boiling water, insist for 45 minutes and strain, bring boiled water to the initial volume. Take ½ cup 3-4 times a day
