Turpentine ointment refers to agents that irritate nerve endings, has a distracting, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, analgesic effect. the distracting effect is due to the ability to penetrate through the epidermis and cause reflex changes as a result of irritation of the skin receptors. the effect of the drug is also due to the release of biologically active substances (histamine) in the skin.

 

Indications:

Neuralgia, myositis, arthritis, rheumatism.

 

Application:

Externally for rubbing painful areas of the skin 2-3 times a day. the duration of use is determined by the nature of the disease.

 

Contraindications:

Kidney and liver diseases, skin diseases of various types.
