Wow, this flavor is unique and fantastic. I have read about sorrel soup before, but never could find sorrel anywhere (besides here). I tried a simple vegetable soup base and some of this jarred sorrel in it (half jar). There is no flavor I can compare it too, but it’s closest to citrus of sorts I would say. It very much brightens a dull vegetable soup with great flavor. I’ll most definitely make this sorrel soup again. I would recommend trying sorrel soup.
I could eat sorrel sauce every day. One of my favorite. I am so glad you have it, I couldn't find it anywhere else.
