It’s not exactly like the dark bread my parents loved, but delicious in its own way. It came in 2 days packed in a refrigeration bag. It just so happened that the first of my heirloom tomatoes became ripe. A slice of bread + plant butter + giant slice of Cherokee purple made my day. Thank you Russian Food USA for the best bread in many, many years. Aciu labai už tokie gera duona. ????????❤️
Note that for classic Ajaran Khachapuri one needs Imeriti cheese, not Sulguni!
Sulguni is only put on top of Megrel Khachapuri, after putting in Imeriti cheese!
Delicious! Haven’t had anything like these before here in the US, soft gummy sweetness with jelly stuff in the center. I’ll definitely be ordering more
