It has a little bit of extra salt (it is covered with salt), but I just washed it out with cold water. Overall it tastes great and it is the finest quality salo, juicy and tender...melts in your mouth. I would highly recommend to all!

This was my first time trying salo. I found it to be delicious))) I ate it on black bread(rye) with mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. I found no reason to wash the salt from the salo.

I loved it, very soft, just melts in your mouth, very pleased with the taste. The skin is soft. Overall, I've enjoyed it with potatoes "v mundire", fresh garlic and "Borodinskiy" bread. Taste of childhood

Salt pork was perfect’ I use it in soups and sauce since the coronavirus hit the United States can’t get it anymore in my hometown in Connecticut so I saw this on the Internet and tried it and it came fast packed right still was cold’ I tried it and some soup and it was just delicious nice and fresh a little pricey but I can still get it’ so thank you Russian food USA

It's very good, but not awesome. The top portion of salo is very soft like butter, which is awesome, but the bottom half is pretty hard and chewy. For this price I expected the whole piece of salo to be soft like butter. Will order again only when I extremely miss it.
