I had never tried kasha before and now after trying it, I love this healthy whole grain. So many health benefits, and so many ways to make it.
I made it in a rice cooker first and it has a light taste of mushroom, sort of wild taste. YUM I also soaked it overnight and just heated it up and used it for breakfast cereal with fruit and maple syrup. The flavor was more mellow and no mushroom wild taste when soaked. YUM I also made it as a side dish for dinner with butter salt and pepper. YUM

My favorite whole grain is buckwheat,but I also eat any true grains(kasha). it is easy to cook and last for several days,when I don't have time for cooking.It is fulfilling, good natural product, not granola bars. I like buckwheat of Russkoe pole and Yuvelka. Good price, cheaper than on Amazon.
