Citramon P, 20 tablets

1 tablet contains:

active ingredients: acetylsalicylic acid - 240 mg, paracetamol - 180 mg, caffeine (in terms of monohydrate) - 30 mg;

auxiliary substances: cocoa powder - 22.5 mg, citric acid monohydrate - 5.0 mg, potato starch - 64.2 mg, talc - 4.9 mg, calcium stearate - 2.8 mg, polysorbate-80 - 0.6 mg.

A combined drug.

 

Acetylsalicylic acid has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects, relieves pain, especially caused by the inflammatory process, and also moderately inhibits platelet aggregation and thrombosis, improves microcirculation in the focus of inflammation.

 

Paracetamol has analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effects, which is associated with its effect on the thermoregulation center in the hypothalamus and a weakly expressed ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in peripheral tissues.

 

Caffeine increases the reflex excitability of the spinal cord, stimulates the respiratory and vasomotor centers, dilates the blood vessels of skeletal muscles, brain, heart, kidneys, reduces platelet aggregation; reduces drowsiness, fatigue, increases mental and physical performance. In this combination, caffeine in a small dose has practically no stimulating effect on the central nervous system, however, it helps to regulate the tone of the brain vessels and accelerate blood flow.

 

Indications for use:

Mild to moderate pain syndrome (of various origins): headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, algodismenorrhea. Febrile syndrome: in acute respiratory diseases, including the flu.

 

Method of administration and dosage:

 

It is taken orally during or after meals, washed down with a sufficient amount of water at each dose. Adults and children over 15 years of age with headache, the recommended dose is 1-2 tablets, in case of severe headache, the next dose is after 4-6 hours.
